MLE internship completed!

I just completed my 6-month internship at Viridien as a Machine Learning Engineer! Had the pleasure of working with such a great and talented team.

ISARC 2025, Montreal!

On July 29 2025, I attended the ISARC 2025 (The International Association for Automation and Robotics in Construction) conference in Montreal, where I presented a conference paper on exploring low-resource fine-tuning based technical text classifiation using LLMs such as Mistral and LLama.

Journal paper published!

On June 14 2025, my paper on classifying technical road inspection texts using very few examples was published in Advanced Engineering Informatics (impact factor 9.9)!

First conference paper published!

On July 4-7 2023, I, together with research partner Hank Luo, attended the the 30th EG-ICE: International Conference on Intelligent Computing in Engineering to present my conference paper on my research project on using computer vision techniques to detect road defects on multiple input modalities. The paper discussed the strengths and weaknesses of various data input modalities in capturing features of road defects, such as potholes and cracks.
